Residency Trainig
IEM, as a research and training center, has the responsibility to have intimate collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine of the IUMS. Internal medicine residency program mandates a four months training in clinical endocrinology and metabolism. During their rotation, residents have a great opportunity to be involved in the training program in outpatient clinics as well as inpatient service. They are also asked to present journal articles adjusted for their academic level in weekly journal clubs. Meanwhile, they are also responsible for training of medical students as well.
