Endocrine research center started to work after doctrinaire agreement since 2010. Its main research background is in the field of Endocrinology and Metabolism on diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, pituitary disorders, obesity and other endocrine disorders. The center is also involved in research in medical education focused on endocrinology training programs. IEM is responsible for implementing clinical endocrinology educational program for undergraduate and postgraduate students.

During his academic career, he has developed expertise in diabetes and its management with special interest on patient empowerment and treatment of diabetes. Having been involved in diabetes research, he has published over 70 original articles. He has been a reviewer of local and international journals, and currently is the academic editor of Plos One.
He is also a member of national diabetes network and Iran endocrine society.
